Around 80 work mates, business connections and good friends came together in Sydney’s CBD to farewell three decades of corporate life, the last 16 years with NAB, and celebrate the next chapter at a private function at The Lane Bar and Restaurant in Sydney.

Catherine Wong Doo, NAB Private Wealth
As an award-winning financial advisor Catherine and Stacey joined NAB Private as part of the original team establishing the Wealth Advisory business in 2000. Catherine shared insights into the ups and downs of corporate life as well as early stories fitting out the new office, business trips to Melbourne which turned into shopping extravaganzas, and unwavering passion for serving clients including building a niche serving clients working overseas.
Tim Hardy, Philanthropy Expert
The early days of Private Ancillary Funds saw an introduction to Tim then running Enrich, and ultimately joining NAB to add structure to private clients giving and serving not-for-profits. Today Tim continues to support Stacey in exploring philanthropy with the rapidly growing wealth across Asia.
Prini Acharrie, Archery Capital
A highlight was Prini’s comparison of the recent surprise outcome for Britain to depart from the European Union or BREXIT to Stacey’s exit from NAB or SMEXIT which has been looked on much more positively! As global head of NAB Migrant Banking including the Significant Investor Visa concierge proposition, Prini reflected on the collaboration across the Asian banking, wealth and investment teams to build an integrated service for those new to Australia.

Starting with a “selfie,” a tradition for events including the SIV Masterclass roadshows and the infamous Melbourne Cup business parties, Liana recalled meeting at a private charity event at Signorelli Gastronomia cooking class at Doltone House with Scott and Jenny Morrison prior to his becoming the Immigration Minister. A fast-paced entrepreneur, always seizing business opportunities, Liana recently invited Stacey to speak at Parliament house with the Harvard Women In Power alumni to share her career journey.
Craig West, Succession Plus
Venue host for the Expat Advisors Community discussion groups, Craig shared Stacey’s excitement in moving to a Portfolio Career and collaborating to support small and medium enterprises in the Aus-China space. Stacey will be working out of the SME Village co-working space and will be a regular presenter for the new SMEA Association small business radio program.

Ray Evans, Australian Business Forum
CEO of the Melbourne-based Aus-China event, business matching and media company, Ray welcomed Stacey to the role of Director APAC setting up the NSW presence for ABF. He reflected on the long-term relationship from corporate sponsorship to overseas delegations, including the upcoming showcase to Xiamen China, and being invited to speak on SIV across the ABF platforms in 2015.
