Did you know the government will reimburse up to 50%* of the cost of attending an overseas marketing conference?
Increasingly, Australian businesses are looking to sell products and services overseas. For many this requires getting there on the ground, attending conferences and meetings and having tailored marketing collateral.
Once a business has spent more than $15,000 on overseas marketing, they are entitled to a 50% rebate on eligible expenses in excess of $5,000 up to a total spend of up to $150,000*.
Eligible costs include:
- airfares and on the ground transport
- a daily allowance of $300 for accommodation and meals
- marketing consultants including research
- marketing collateral
- office and communication expenses
