China is the largest and fastest growing emerging market. In an increasing competitive environment, we need to be knowledgeable about what is happening there, and innovative about ways in which we view and engage with China.
In this session, guest speaker, Professor Kerry Brown will share some of his insights from the extensive research he has undertaken on China’s political system, the incredible transformation over the last few decades and what lies ahead for those doing business with this economic powerhouse.
Professor Brown has as a PhD in the modern politics and history of China, and speaks fluent Mandarin. He is the author of 10 books on China, including `The New Emperors: Power and the Princelings in China’ and `Shanghai 2020: The City’s Vision for Its Future’. His new book ‘Xi Jinping: China’s CEO’ will be published in late 2015.
